Black Hollywood was out in full effect on Wednesday night for the premiere of Spike Lee‘s latest joint, BlackKklansman.
Stars swarmed the red carpet before watching the film that focuses on the true-life story of Ron Stallworth, a Black detective who successfully infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in the 1970s.
Executive producer, Jordan Peele, was missing in action but there were plenty of famous faces on deck to celebrate the eye-opening film before heading to Chateau Marmont for a star-studded after party.

John David Washington
The star of the film was full of excitement on the red carpet and sang the praises of the film’s director, Spike Lee.
The Grown-ish star killed the carpet in her black crocheted dress before heading inside and having a fangirl moment when she spotted Kid Cudi in the crowd.
The singer and actress showed off her fit physique in a two-piece ensemble and said she was expecting nothing less than greatness from the Spike Lee flick.
Omar J. Dorsey
The Queen Sugar star cozied up to his wife and gushed about the effect Spike Lee joints have had on his life. “I believe in what Spike does and what Spike has done ever since She’s Gotta Have It. The next one was School Daze and that changed my whole life and made me want to be an actor. I grew up in Atlanta and it made me want to go to an HBCU.”
The actress was a vision in blue as she fielded questions about her recent guest role on Power.
The comedian gave props to his pal, Spike Lee as they posed for some snapshots on the red carpet at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
The braided-beauty who plays Patrice Dumas in the film spoke about the importance of representing the women who were instrumental in the Black Power movement.
Courtney Kemp Agboh
Power creator and showrunner, Courtney Kemp Agboh was on deck in an adorable floral-print dress and high ponytail.
This gorgeous girl who plays Odetta in the flick wore a long, sexy blazer dress with thigh-high boots and discussed how important it is for young people to see BlackKklansman and “wake up.”
